- PhoneBurner lists unlimited power dialing on every plan: Standard is $140 per user per month billed annually ($165 monthly); Aircall Professional is $50 per license with a 3-license minimum.
- Apollo Basic ($49 per seat billed annually) and lemlist Multichannel ($87 billed yearly) include a dialer inside a larger outreach tool; Kixie lists power dialer plans but no price on the page we read.
- Quo does not list a power dialer on its pricing page, so there is no affiliate pick here; none of these dialers were tested by us.
- Under about 30 calls a day, skip the dialer. All prices were read from each vendor's page on 2026-10-08.
The best auto dialer for a small business depends on how many calls you place in a day, and most owners place fewer than they think. An auto dialer, often called a power dialer, dials the next number on your list as soon as you finish a call, so you stop typing digits and start talking. This guide compares PhoneBurner, Aircall, Kixie, Apollo and lemlist on their own published pricing and features, read on 2026-10-08. We have not tested any of them, and we have no affiliate pick in this post. Where a number is missing from a company's page, we say so and leave it out.

The short answer
- Pick PhoneBurner if dialing is the job. Every plan on its pricing page lists unlimited power dialing. Standard is $140 per user per month billed annually ($165 monthly). Not tested by us.
- Pick Aircall Professional if three or more people share a phone system: $50 per license per month, 3-license minimum, with a power dialer and outbound call campaigns.
- Pick Apollo Basic if you also want the contact database: $49 per seat per month billed annually, with a US dialer that uses credits.
- Skip an auto dialer if you place under about 30 calls a day. Click-to-call from a spreadsheet and a business number are enough, and cost far less.

VendBuddy is our product and is not a dialer. It appears once near the end because a dialer is only as good as the list you load into it. We do earn a commission from Quo on other pages of this site, and we explain below why it is not a pick here.
What an auto dialer does, in plain words
Three kinds of tool get called a dialer, and they cost very different amounts:
- Click-to-call. You click a number and your phone or app dials it. Almost every business phone has this.
- Power dialer. You load a list. When one call ends, it dials the next number on the list for you. One line at a time.
- Parallel or multi-line dialer. It dials several numbers at once and connects you to the first person who picks up. Kixie's page lists up to four lines on its multi-line plan, and Aircall's lists parallel calls on Essentials.
For a vending operator pitching property managers, the first or second kind is plenty. Twenty calls a day, one at a time, is a good day. A parallel dialer is built for teams working through hundreds.
A word on the rules. US rules on automated calls and texts to mobile numbers, and the Do Not Call list, are strict, and a dialer does not change them. This is general information, not legal advice. If you plan to call at volume, ask a lawyer before you load a list.
How we checked
On 2026-10-08 we read the pricing pages for PhoneBurner, Aircall, Kixie, Apollo and lemlist, plus Quo's pricing page and its click-to-call page. We copied plan names, prices and limits. We did not sign up or place a call, so we cannot speak to call quality, connection speed or support. We give no scores, because a score for a tool we have not used would be invented.
We tried to include Mojo and Dialpad too. Neither page gave us plan names and prices in text we could read, so we left them out rather than guess. We also looked for a power dialer in Quo's published features and did not find one, which is why it is not on the list below.

PhoneBurner: dialing first, not tested by us
Best for: someone whose job is working through a call list all day. Its pricing page lists unlimited power dialing on Standard, Professional and Premium, plus a CRM, sales cadences, 1-click voicemails, click-to-call and over 100 integrations. Standard is $140 per user per month billed annually or $165 billed monthly, with 10,000 contact imports a month and 30 days of call recording. Professional at $165 ($195 monthly) adds browser softphone, live call monitoring and 90 days of recording. Premium at $183 ($215 monthly) adds call transcription, 1,000 outbound texts a month and unlimited recording.
Downsides from the page: it is the priciest per seat here, and texting is listed only on Premium. Skip it if you make a few dozen calls a week. Anyone can try it first: the page offers free minutes to test the dialer.
Aircall Professional: a phone system with a dialer, not tested by us
Best for: a team of three or more that wants one phone system with a power dialer. Professional is $50 per license per month and lists a power dialer, outbound call campaigns, call whispering, live monitoring, AI call summaries and full API access, with 250+ integrations. Essentials at $30 lists click-to-dial and parallel calls but not the power dialer. Both need three licenses.
Downside from the page: three Professional licenses is $150 a month before add-ons. It is overbuilt for one caller. See Aircall alternatives.
Kixie: power dialer plans, not tested by us
Best for: a team that wants a single-line or multi-line dialer with voicemail drop and texting. The page lists Single-Line PowerDialer (one line) and Multi-Line PowerDialer (up to four lines, with AI human voice detection), each with text messaging, voicemail drop and call recording. The trial is 7 days with no card.
Downside from the page: the pricing page text we read did not show a price per user, so we cannot tell you what it costs and we will not guess.
Apollo: dialer inside a database, not tested by us
Best for: someone who also wants contact data and email sequences in the same account. Basic is $49 per seat per month billed annually and lists a US dialer with credits, unlimited sequences and 250 emails a day. Professional is $79. The free plan lists 150 minutes of call recording. Downside: credits cover lookups and dialer use, so a heavy caller can run through them; the dialer is a feature of a larger tool.
lemlist Multichannel: calls inside sequences, not tested by us
Best for: sequences that mix email, LinkedIn, SMS and calls. Multichannel is $109 a month ($87 billed yearly) per user and lists a built-in call dialer. Downside: it is an outreach platform first and a phone tool second. See lemlist alternatives.
Why Quo is not on the list
We earn a commission when readers sign up for Quo through other pages on this site, so you should know why it is absent here. Quo's pricing page does not list a power dialer or auto dialer on any plan. Its site describes a click-to-call feature that loads a number into the Quo dialer so you can place the call yourself. That is useful, but it is click-to-call, not an auto dialer. If a business number with a shared inbox is what you need, read business phone setup for vending operators, RingCentral alternatives or Google Voice alternatives. We do not recommend Quo as a dialer.
12-month cost for one caller
Our arithmetic from the published prices, for one user for 12 months. Aircall is shown at its 3-license minimum. Kixie is left out because no price was shown.
| Option | Price used | 12 months |
|---|---|---|
| PhoneBurner Standard, billed annually | $140 per month | $1,680 |
| PhoneBurner Standard, billed monthly | $165 per month | $1,980 |
| PhoneBurner Premium, billed annually | $183 per month | $2,196 |
| Aircall Professional (3 licenses) | $50 x 3 per month | $1,800 |
| lemlist Multichannel, billed yearly | $87 per month | $1,044 |
| Apollo Basic, billed annually | $49 per month | $588 |
The honest point: a power dialer is priced for people who dial all day. For a solo operator placing 20 calls a day, $1,680 a year for dialing speed does not pay back unless the list is large and the calls are the bottleneck. A business phone line at the $10 to $25 per user prices in our other phone guides, plus a spreadsheet, covers the same 20 calls.
How to choose
Ask how many calls you place in a day. Under 30, skip the dialer; a business number and a call list do the job. Between 30 and 100, a lighter power dialer, such as one inside Apollo, may be enough. Over 100 a day, a dialer-first tool like PhoneBurner earns its price. Then ask who calls: one person or a team, because Aircall's minimum and the per-seat prices change the math. Last, check texting and voicemail drop, because those are where the plans split.
What you say matters more than how fast you dial. Our guides on how to cold call vending machine locations and how to get past the gatekeeper cover the call itself. And a dialer is only as good as its list. Need someone to call first? Find them with VendBuddy, our product. Best for: finding local businesses near you (offices, apartments, gyms, medical) and the person who decides there. Searching a ZIP is free, and one credit gets the best contact on file for one business. It is built for vending operators. If you run a sales floor that needs technographics, intent data or 100,000-contact exports, it is not for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best auto dialer for a small business?
For someone whose job is dialing, PhoneBurner lists unlimited power dialing on every plan, starting at $140 per user per month billed annually. For a team that wants one phone system with a dialer, Aircall Professional is $50 per license with a 3-license minimum. We have tested none of them. Read from each vendor's page on 2026-10-08.
What is the difference between a power dialer and an auto dialer?
A power dialer dials the next number on your list when a call ends, one line at a time. A parallel or multi-line dialer dials several numbers at once and connects you to the first answer; Kixie lists up to four lines on its multi-line plan. Click-to-call just dials one number when you click it.
Does Quo have an auto dialer?
Not on its pricing page. Quo describes a click-to-call feature that loads a number into its dialer so you place the call yourself, and it lists no power dialer on any plan. We read its pricing page and click-to-call page on 2026-10-08.
Is an auto dialer worth it for a vending business?
Usually not. A vending operator pitching property managers places a few dozen calls a week. A business number, a call list and a script cover that. A dialer pays back when calling is most of your day.
Are auto dialers legal?
US rules on automated calls and texts to mobile numbers and the Do Not Call list are strict, and a dialer does not change them. This is general information, not legal advice. Ask a lawyer before you call at volume.
