The Free 7-Day Vending Business Plan Workbook

Tell it your goal, your biggest challenges, your hours, your budget and the places you want machines in. You get a week built from your answers — how many machines your target actually needs, and three to five timed tasks a day chosen for where you are. Print it, bookmark it, or have each day emailed to you, and tick things off as you go.

Your week

These are beginner-rate estimates, not promises. Seven days does not place a machine — it gets the part you control started.

Questions about the workbook

Is the vending business workbook free?

Yes. There is no card and no signup to build your plan: answer the questions and the 7-day plan appears. A free VendBuddy account saves your progress, ticks off the steps it can see you do, like searching your territory or revealing a contact, and can email you each day’s tasks.

How is the 7-day plan personalized?

Every day is built from your answers: where you are now, your income goal, your top one or two challenges, your weekly hours, your budget band, how you approach locations and the location types you are targeting. Someone with a site but no machine gets a different week from someone starting from zero, a challenge like contracts or follow-ups adds its own tasks, and the tasks for each day are sized to the hours you said you have.

How does it work out how many vending machines I need?

It divides your monthly net income target by a typical net per machine for the type you picked (about $250 a month for a snack and drink combo, $300 for a specialty machine, $400 for an AI smart cooler) and rounds up. Those are planning averages; a strong location earns more and a weak one less.

How many pitches does it take to land a vending location?

The workbook uses typical pitches per yes by approach: about 5 walk-ins, 8 phone calls or 12 cold emails per signed location, and 7 for a mix. Your weekly pitch quota is then sized to the hours you said you have.

Can I print the 7-day vending workbook?

Yes. Save as PDF / Print lays the plan out one day per page, with checkboxes, time estimates, the daily challenge and check-in question, and ruled lines for notes, so it can sit on your desk as an accountability partner for the week.

Can the workbook email me each day’s tasks?

Yes, if you sign in with a free account and turn it on. You get one email a day for the seven days with that day’s tasks, challenge and check-in, and you can turn it off in the workbook or with the unsubscribe link in any email.

What happens after the seven days?

Day 7 is a review with a suggested plan for days 8 to 14. The free 14-Day First Placement Sprint inside the VendBuddy app picks up from there and tracks the milestones between a first conversation and a signed location.
